Antenna Systems
Let’s face it, not everyone wants or can afford Cable or Satellite TV. So, in these
cases they need an antenna to make their TV work. In 1980, that was the bulk of
our business, Installing Residential and Commercial Antenna Systems. Today and in
the digital age, there isn’t a whole lot of change in basic TV Antennas, but when
you start putting amplifiers, Taps and long cable runs into the picture, look out!
This is where we separate the men from the boys (or people who think they know from
those who do know). It takes years of RF training and the right test equipment to
figure out where problems are in large scale digital systems. You can’t really just
“wing it”. This is especially true if a system supports local channel origination.
So if you have digital channels freezing or snowy local injected channels, with
Andtech we will find the problem and get your signal moving again with clear results.
Satellite TV
Traditional cable companies simply use a combination of antennas and dishes to produce
what they sell. So why switch or consider satellite systems? More variety, better
reception and you save money!
Initially, the Cable Industry's intent was to simply bring TV signals to remote
areas where TV antennas were not sufficient. With the introduction of movie channels
and other premium services, cable had an edge in suburban America. With so many
new channels popping up cable has a herd time keeping up. The only alternative is
Satellite TV. Current technology allows us to offer both small 18inch systems and
the not as popular 10’ master pieces. Besides their size, there is a difference
between the 18-inch and 10-foot dish systems. There are more than 1,000 channels
available if you have a 10-foot dish. The 18-inch system does a great job of replacing
cable, but the big dishes are still a better value in the long run, but with Andtech
we can direct you to the best choice for your individual need!
Big Dish Advantage
As mentioned, the little dishes gave everyone access even in rural America. But
for those who want specialty programming, the large C / Ku band dishes are the dominating
form. Andtech promotes the Motorola 4DTV large system. If you are looking for service,
we do supports most other brands.
- There are over thirty satellites in space, each with over 24 channels.
- Many channels are still available free of charge, while small dish systems charge
for these very same services.
- Better recording can be expected with our systems. Enhanced compression technology
and cleaner distribution can result in a better product.
- Sleek installation means we interface your system transparently without switches.
- Great variety of sports entertainment.
- Camouflaged systems are available.
